Call of Cthulhu Adventure
by David Wright / Polyhedral Press via Chaosium’s Miskatonic Repository
Horror in the Highlands is written by the author of The Oxford Articles, a Silver selling adventure for the 7th Edition of the Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game by Chaosium.
On Friday 23rd February 1722, something horrible happened in Moy.
It is almost Friday 23rd February 1923 and, once again, Moy will experience something horrible.
The Bodach Glas has come.
There will be Horror in the Highlands.
The adventure is for 3 to 6 investigators, and should take between 6 and 10 hours of game play to complete depending on the decisions taken by the Keeper and Players.
The adventure is set in the village of Moy in the Scottish Highlands during February 1923.
The investigators are invited to a celebration by Lord Mackintosh to commenmorate the launch of a new whisky named after his late father.
The following topics are referenced in this adventure and as such I have included them as content warnings: beheading, burning alive, decapitation, occult experiences, and pagan themes.
